Mi A3 is unveiling in India on August 21, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain tweet on Tuesday. The company also sent media invites to announce the launch schedule of the new smartphone. The smartphone is likely to launch in three color options, i.e. more than White, Not just Blue, and Kind of Grey colors. To remember, the Mi A3 was launched in Spain last month at an opening price of EUR 249 (roughly Rs 19,000) for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage variant. The 4GB RAM and 128GB storage option was launched at EUR 279 (Rs 22,000).
The Mi A3 comes with a 6.08-inch AMOLED Dot Drop HD+ display (720×1560 pixels) with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 2.5D glass, rounded corners and a waterdrop-style notch. It also supports Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The Mi A3 will be powered by the octa-core Snapdragon 665 coupled with 4GB of RAM.
Come to the cameras, for photos and videos, the Mi A3 sports a triple rear camera setup that consists of a 48-megapixel primary Sony sensor with an f/1.7 lens. There’s also a secondary 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens alongside 2-megapixel depth-sensing camera. It supports 4k video recording at 30fps. There’s a 32-megapixel front camera.
It measures 153.4×71.8×8.4mm and weighs 174 grams. It comes with USB Type-C charging port and 3.5mm audio jack. Also, the phone packs a 4,030mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging. Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS/ A-GPS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There is also an in-display fingerprint sensor. The Mi A3 has 64GB and 128GB of internal storage options that both are expandable via microSD card.
